At Chocowell, we take pride in crafting premium chocolates using high-quality, lab-tested ingredients. Because our products are perishable, consumable, and food-grade, we follow strict hygiene and safety protocols.

To ensure fairness and clarity for all customers, please read our return and refund terms below.

Eligibility for Return / Replacement

 

 

 

We do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Taste preference
  • Personal dislike of flavor or texture

A return, replacement, or refund will be considered only in the following genuine cases:

  1. Incorrect item delivered (wrong product, variant, or quantity)
  2. Physically damaged product at delivery
  3. Expired or near-expiry product received
  4. Packaging tampered or unsealed at the time of delivery
  5. Missing item(s) inside the parcel

To raise a request, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order ID
  • Clear photos of the outer packaging and inner product
  • Unboxing video (optional but helpful)

🔄 Return / Replacement Process

 

 

 

 

Since chocolates are consumable items, physical returns are not required in most cases.

After reviewing your evidence, our team will offer one of:

  • Full or partial refund
  • Free replacement shipment
  • Store credit/coupon valid on our website


All approvals are based on objective verification of provided photos and packaging evidence.

💰 Refund Policy

Once approved, refunds are processed as follows:

 

Prepaid Orders (UPI, Card, Wallets)

 

  • Refund processed within 5–7 business days
  • Credited to the original payment method

Cash on Delivery (COD)

 

  • COD orders are not eligible for refunds
    (However, a replacement may be provided if the issue is valid.)


Refunds Are NOT Applicable For

  • Opened, consumed, or partially eaten products
  • Complaints raised after 48 hours
  • Dislike of taste/flavor (subjective preference)
  • Prepaid orders refused at delivery → No refund
  • Orders returned due to wrong/incomplete address
  • Courier delays or operational delays beyond our control
  • Products purchased during sale/discount campaigns
  • Free/complimentary items, gifts, or giveaway products
  • Orders placed on third-party platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
    → Contact their support for resolution

📦 Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of placing them, subject to processing status.
  • Once the order is processed, packed, or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
  • Valid prepaid cancellations will be refunded within 5–7 business days.
  • Approved replacements/exchanges will be delivered within 15 business days.

📍 Damaged Delivery / Melted Items

We use temperature-resistant packaging, especially for heat-sensitive products.

 

However, if you receive a melted, broken, or spoiled item:

  1. Take clear photos of the product and packaging
  2. Email us within 48 hours of delivery
  3. Do not consume or store the melted items before reporting

We will review the case and provide a fair resolution.

🚫 Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following are strictly not eligible:

  • Opened, altered, or resealed items
  • Missing evidence (photos/video)
  • Incorrect address or non-availability at delivery
  • Delays caused by courier/transportation
  • Third-party orders (resolved by their support team)
  • Items purchased during clearance or special promotions
